Lawsuit Alert, News, Ripoffs?

Over trying to steal ideas, and maybe the game itself…

And no, this isn’t Konami suing (oh how much I’d love that to happen right about now, but since Konami has seemed to make nice with Activision lately, that seems unlikely now), this is Genius Products suing, the publishers of that Scratch: The Ultimate DJ thing we showed you a few weeks ago. Genius Products contends that Activision and 7 Studios “conspired to withhold the current version of Scratch in an effort to delay the development and release of Scratch and to gain access to proprietary technology”. This all happened after Activision supposedly realized that Scratch looked better than their own DJ Hero. I won’t vouch for that until I actually see DJ Hero in action though.
